FIAT 500L "Italian invasion" commercial

This is one of the recent FIAT commercials. FIAT has emerged as a major player in the automobile industry worldwide. The northern Cisalpine industrial centers have been at the cutting edge of this industry from the very beginning. I feel a slight urge to write something a little sarcastic, but I don't want to get in the way of everyone's fun!

Too true. There was this engineer back in the middle ages---Giovanni da Fontana(alternatively Giovanni Fontana). One of his contraption was a rocket-propelled "car". Go figure.

I think this has been generally the case with aeronautics, as well. The analogous case would be Francesco Lana de Terzi(a Bressan) who conceived of a vaccuum airship(good entry for your camonica blog).
And the first man to make an aerial bombing was a Ligurian: Giulio Gavotti in the Italo-Turkish War.

Hey, Giuxep, are you still in contact with Monique? She's a pretty knowledgeable person, no doubt. If you are, can you ask her if she doesn't mind having email exchange with me? Just wanted to ask her some q's about the "facts on the ground" over there.

Hello!

I'm going to have to go through your comments and use some of your ideas for posts.

I haven't been in contact with her for awhile now; and when I was, it was just via YouTube. I don't have her e-mail. Maybe try a msg via YT.
